cooling function ProCon Grumbach AvianSelect XXL (Pro) – Precision and flexibility for your breeding operations
The ProCon Grumbach AvianSelect XXL (Pro) has been specially developed for breeders who demand the very highest standards of technology, reliability and flexibility. With a capacity of up to 420 chicken eggs across 10 trays, this unit is ideal for medium-sized broods – whether in professional breeding operations, laboratories, zoos or demanding hobby breeding.
Thanks to its modular design, the AvianSelect XXL Pro can be used not only as an incubator but also as a rearing unit – ideal for the care of newly hatched chicks. This makes the unit perfectly suited to the changing demands of everyday breeding.
Control is via the new, intuitive CTD7 electronics, available in either the Basic or Pro version.
- Basic version includes all key basic functions such as digital temperature and humidity control, motorised turning and cooling function – comparable to the previous GTFS system.
- Pro version also offers Wi-Fi-based internet functions: e.g. live data monitoring, a hatching calendar, egg data recording, and automatic notifications in the event of anomalies. Remote diagnostics via ProCon Grumbach are also available – for rapid fault analysis should the need arise.
A particular highlight is the digitally adjustable cooling timer, which allows for individual control of breaks and rest periods during incubation.
The gentle, motor-driven roll turning ensures that the embryos develop optimally – regardless of egg size.
The unit can be optionally upgraded for future-proofing, e.g. with CO₂ and O₂ sensors, app connectivity or automatic UV disinfection in the water tank (in preparation). A version with a stainless steel interior will also be available shortly.
